Every surface has a right method and a wrong one. Concrete driveways handle 3,000–4,000 PSI without damage and need it to cut through oil staining, algae, and embedded tire marks. Stucco and EIFS (synthetic stucco) fail under anything over about 1,500 PSI and are better treated with a surfactant wash at lower pressure. Wood decking and fencing needs to be read for its condition — weathered, dry wood damages easily under pressure, while sound treated lumber handles it well.
